Day - 02 COCHIN - ALLEPPEY - (Breakfast /Lunch /Dinner)
Drive to Alleppey to board your private Houseboat for a cruise on the Backwaters. Day - 03 ALLEPPEY - KUMARAKOM - (Breakfast )
Enjoy another short cruise and after Breakfast, your houseboat drops you at Kumarakom. Check-into Backwaters Resort. You may try the famous Ayurvedic Spa/Massage at your resort at own costs. Relax at your Resort located in the beautiful serene backwaters on banks of famous Vembanand lake with picturesque surroundings.
Day - 04 KUMARAKOM - COCHIN - -(Breakfast )
Morning drive to Cochin. Visit St. Francis Church, the oldest European built church in India, constructed in 1503 by Portugues San Franciscan friars. It was renamed St. Francis in 1663. In 1779 the Protestant Dutch replaced the original wooden building with stone masonry. Later walk at the Jew street and visit Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Friday, Sat & Jewish Holidays), built in 1568 AD, and is the oldest in the common-wealth. It was destroyed by the Portuguese in 1662, but rebuilt by the Dutch 2 years later. It is adorned by hundreds of blue and white hand-painted tiles. Also visit 1555 Portuguese built Mattancherry Palace which was gifted to the Maharaja of Kochi as a good-will gesture to ensure trade privileges. The Palace is now a Museum (Closed on Fri/Sat). Continue onto the giant Chinese Fishing nets at the harbor’s entrance that silhouetted against sunset, present a magnificent sight of the water-front.
Day - 05 COCHIN-DEP - -(Breakfast )
Morning, you may try some good shopping at Cochin's M.G. Road. (Check-out at 12 Noon). After Lunch, transfer to airport for your onward flight.
